More than 30 years across clinical care and education
Dr. Haytham graduated from the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University, in 1994. His career spans private practice, hospital dentistry, postgraduate teaching, research supervision and university leadership in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Postgraduate qualifications in restorative and laser dentistry
His qualifications include a High Laser Diploma from NILES, Cairo University (1996), a master’s degree in laser dental applications (2000), a master’s degree in restorative dentistry from Cairo University (2005), and a PhD in laser dental applications from NILES, Cairo University (2009).
Current academic and clinical roles
Since March 2024, Dr. Haytham has served as Director of the Laser Medical Center at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences, Cairo University. He also teaches in postgraduate laser programs at Misr University for Science and Technology, including the Genoa fellowship pathway, while working full-time in Gemini Dental Clinic.
University, hospital and international experience
His CV records eight years teaching operative and laser dentistry at Taif University in Saudi Arabia, alongside earlier clinical work at Nile Badrawy Hospital, Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital, 6th October Hospital, and internship and endodontic residency training at Cairo University.
